Previous marriage for visa but now in love with someone else

I'll try to go straight to the point. My boyfriend got a marriage to obtain a US visa. (it happens) He does not love or ever lived with the other woman. He is from India and now lives in Canada. Only reason for marriage is so that he could come to the US and see his parents who have not seen in 20 years.

We love eachother and want to be together. I am a US citizen since birth as I was born in this country as well as my whole family. It just happened that we met a few months after his paper marriage happened. If he wants to nule his marriage and marry me instead, what problems can we encounter? I am expecting his child as well. Will having a child thats a US citizen help? He is the main supported of our family. Will he get deported or kicked out of the US if he divorces his "wife" before the 2 year waiting period? We are very in love and feel tied up because of this...

Any non judgemental answers will be greatly appreciated

Having US citizen child will not help in anyway.

Once he gets divorced before getting the permanent greencard, he would be out of status.Unless you get married to him right away after he gets divorces, preferably the same day or the next day, it could pose problems for him.
