US resident applying for GC for mother who overstayed

I am a US permanent resident and intend to become a citizen as soon as I am elegible. I would like to apply to request a green card for my mother who came into the country legally under a tourist visa but ended up staying in the US for about 4 years.

Can anyone guide me in the process of applying for her green card. I undestand I should file I-130 and I-485, however, I-485 explicitly says that one cannot apply for a person who overstayed their time in the US. Does anyone know if there is a way for a US citizen to resolve this situation without the mother having to leave the country.

Has anyone done anything similar? Thank you.

No. She has to leave the U.S. and she faces 10 year bar to reentry.
