i-130 RFE Name Difference

Hi Guys!

I'm pretty new here and I have a question regarding a RFE that was sent to my mother regarding a name difference. The difference I am speaking of is the fact that my mother's name on my birth certificate is different than on the i-130 paper that was completed for her.

I do know that photo evidence is the best proof, so can an expired Texas Driver's License do her any good? We would like to send that along with a university ID Card that has a different name for her on it.

My mother have the same RFE, name difference. It was my mother's single status name (before marriage). The first name on the request was in a different spelling. And she also have 3 indiviual petitions with the same request, but misspelled differently as well. Should we need to contact immigration or just submit evidence with correct name. Also, if old photo ID with requested name can't be found, would her birth certificate suffice? Thank you for your advise.

Abbreviated names i.e "Ma." instead of "Maria", Mispelled letters in name, but the middle name an last name were correct.
We can not provide proof of these since the names stated in RFE were never used. However, we plan to just provide her birth certificate showing her correct unmarried name.
