Hey there Everyone!
I am petitioning for my husband's green card. We met at school when he was doing his Masters and I my Bachelors. He has been on OPT that is going to end August end. We were married in April and submitted our paperwork at the first of May. Our deadline to get paperwork in was the end of May, so we were way ahead of schedule to allow things to go wrong.
We got our paperwork sent back 3 times now, and this last time was that my signature was 1/2 of an inch lower than the line it was supposed to be on. Because this last time they kept our paperwork for 1 month before rejecting and returning it, it seems that my husband is going to be forced to not work for quite the significant amount of time while paperwork is getting processed and his OPT ends.
We cannot waste anymore time and risk getting our paperwork sent back a month later again.
My husband and I live in Salt Lake City and we are willing to fly to Phoenix to submit the paperwork in person to where it is processed after received from the lockbox.
Does anyone know if this is possible? We are determined and ready to do anything it takes now because my husband not working means half of our income is gone for 3 months.
I cannot find a phone number or the exact place where the paperwork is received and processed after picked up from the lockbox. Anyone know where to find this information?
I also am having trouble finding out if in person submissions are allowed with the I-130 and I-485.
Any information would be SOOOOOOOOO helpful
Thanks so much,
