Coming back to US from India with 3 months passport validity - Any Issue

Hello all,
I am planning to travel to india on May 21st, 2024 due to a family medical emergency and will be returning in US on June 21st, 2024.
I am a permanent resident of US (Green Card holder) and I do have indian passport which is valid until October 5th, 2024.
So my question is
Can I travel to India and come back to US on my current passport? Please note that my Indian passport validity is less than six months.
and I was told that Since India is a member of Six Month Club so India citizens are exempt from the Six Month rule.

I would like to confirm it that I will not face any issues while travelling back to US from India.Please share your experience if anyone had similar sitiation

As far as the US government is concerned, a green card holder is not required to have a passport at all to enter or travel to the US. As for what the airline and/or India exit controls requires, you would have to ask them.
