  • I-140 pending with USCIS for more than 9 Months

    Hi,

My Employer filed I-140 in June 2017. Its still processing with USCIS.

Any Idea how long does it take?.

    Regards.

Depends on the category, nowdays EB1 takes much longer (as per official USCIS site). Mine I140 is in EB2 category, submitted in the end of June 2017 - stillin initial status. If yours takes longer than normal - try to bug officials via service request.

I'm seeing a lot of decisions from June 2017 I-140 filings in EB-2 and EB-3 right now. It seems like there are quite a few from June still pending. Shouldn't be much longer, but it could be another month or two.

You should start raising a service request so that you can follow up your case.
