when can I file I-485

Hi all,

I filed I-140 in August -2018 and I received my case number on August 28th. I didn't file I-485 until I am approved.

when I check my case online, I don't see any processing or updates.

Is this normal? the priority date on the letter, I-797, I received was current ( August 23rd ).

I am very anxious, I want to see my dad he is sick......
