Reference no. for I-140 Application

Once you/lawyer files I-140 application, within how many days you will get your Reference no. ?
Can we track status with that Ref. no.

The reason to ask this is as my Lawyer advised me that he lodge my application and Ref. no. will be available after some days. Is that true??

Usually takes 2 weeks before you get your receipt notice from USCIS.
