140 before marriage

My Labor got approved and prepared to file I-140. But, I am not married and planning to get married in Feb 2006. So, please suggest me shall I wait for marriage before filing 140? Suppose, I file I-140 and get approval. So, is there any time restriction for filing 485 after 140 approval ? Or, I can wait for 3,6 months for filing 485 after 140 approval?

You can still file I-140 before marriage. After that you will have wait for 2- 5 yrs to file your 485 which depends on whether it's EB2 or EB3.
