pre-approved 140

hi,
i got pre-approved 140. so i filed my 485. but now they have been denied and my h1 has also expired. so what do i do now ? what r my options. anyone with same situation ? plz help ?

worst case scenario - go back to your home country, enjoy time with friends and family, take up a temporary job there. then come back under a new h1b in 2 years. 2 years goes by very fast. before you know it you will be back in the US.

i am going back in dec06. so how soon can i come back on new h1 ?
do i have to wait for 1 year or i can apply in apr 07 and hopefully come in oct07 (only with h1 stamping of course)
