  • changing employer after I-140 Approved and after 6yrs

    Hi,
I recently got my I-140 approved. I also finished my 6 yrs. My Employer filed a 3 yr extension of H1. With this,

    1. Can I change employer ?
    2. If i do, Can I keep my priority date ?
    3. I am currently in EB3. If my new employer files with EB2 Taking into account my 6 yr experience, can i still keep my priority date ?

      U can shift

U shift employers after ur I-140. But again u have to apply for ur fresh labor and it starts with new priority dates . So until unless u r really fedup with ur companies, dont try to shift

I am also seeking an answer to the same question. I believe you can change employers 6 months after getting your I140. Not sure about changing the category though (EB3 to EB2)
