I140 getting delayed

hi,
My lawyers filed my I140 in august 2006. Got the receipt from USCIS. After that I have not heard anything. Does anyone have/had this situation.please help.

the cancelled check you have recd from uscis has a number at the back. use that number and track it on uscis web site.you will know what they are doing and register yourself so that they give u updates.....but wait is the answer..u just cannot do anything..i am also waiting but its just brutal and waste of time....just frustated....

Currently the priority date for I-140 is Some time in Aug 2006. so just wait for some more days. U will get it
