EB2 filing with masters degree but in different field

Hi,
I have a masters degree in electronics and 2+ years of experience in software programming. My lawyer is saying that if file EB2 application the chances of rejection are there as I don't have computer cources in the degree.
1) will it be a problem If I file my petition under EB2.
2) if I do premium filing of I-140 and then even say I get rejected then will this effect if I file again with EB3. Are there any impacts in later stages or citizenship application if you are rejected for this reason in I-140?
3) currently EB3's priority date is 2003 and EB2's date is 2004 so if I file under EB3 now when can I expect to get the GC? 4-5 years?

Hello Rahul

Take your lawyer's advice seriously. You have an excellent background but not all is software related. So EB3 should be a clean case. You will have the permission to live and work in this country as long as your appliction is filed.
Don't worry about the time. It may be slow but you can bet on it better.
