I140 RFE help

My RFE:
Evidence must be in the form of letters from the beneficiary's current or former employers giving the name address & the title of the employment and a description of the experience of the beneficiary, including dates of employment & the specific dutie performed.

My question.
Can i get a letter from my current employer too to prove the year of experience.

i think it will work

1) if the year of employment happened before LC was filed, or
2) if the position that the Gc is for is different from the one that you have currently.
