I-140 pending

I am currently on H1-B and have applied for GC. My I-140 is pending and my priority date is Dec 2006. My 6 years on H1B expire in Aug 2009. When I saw the priority date online it showed the processing year as 2001. What are the options available to me in case my I-140 is still pending till 2009? I have received the EAD card.

One more question in the same lines

Once the I-140 is approved, can it be transferred with another employer along with the H1?
If we already have EAD and AP, will that become invalid?
