GC Process assistance

Hi

My wife and I are both on H1B. My wife's company is starting her green card process by filing her I-140. When should she ask to add me on to her application? She is in healthcare and already has labor clearance, I am a consultant and have not begun the GC process.

There is no adding part on the I140 but the form could ask for spouse name and yours could be included. Adding a dependent mainly happens only in the I485 stage.
