Filed I-140 was moved

My I-140 application was filed in May 2007 at Nebraska center.In April 2008 my application was transferred to Texas center because of some reason. As per the latest processing timelines, Texas center is processing applications that were filed in Aug 2007. Not sure why my application has still not been processed. Does my application filed date changes to April 2008 from May 2007?

Should I call USCIS customer service?

Service centers often move cases between themselves due to work load. You will still retain the original file date. Nothing changes except the center that is processing the papers.
