Labor approved and I-140 pending

Hi All,

My Labor is approved with priority date Feb 2008 and I-140 was applied in May 2008. I-140 is still pending. I want to change my current job. Can I retain my priority date or I have to wait till my I-140 is approved.

Please help me.

PD comes from Labor and not I140.

Thanks for replying. So should I change my job before I-140 is approved or should I wait for I-140 to be approved.
