I-140 approved, need to change status

Hi,
My 1-140 is approved in EB2 under exceptional ability with advance degree. Due to job gone i have to change my status as dependent H4. Is this will effect my I-140 approved case or can be harmful if I apply for I-485 form in near future.

Now I am facing the similar situation. I would like to know your status now. Is it possible for you to hold the I-140 approved status even after you have changed your status from H1 b to H4. I have time till Nov 26 2012 your answer will help me to take a decision whether to continue my job or convert to h4.
