    Spouse Sponsorship

    Hi Ray B

Thank you for your instant reply.

My wife got her social security number in May 1996 when she arrived there first time.

Now she is filing my petition the form I-130 and this form requires social security number of my wife. She has her old social security number. Can she wait for arriving her new social security number or she should put her old social security number. Please keep in your mind that my wife reactivated her green card 3 months back.

    Regards

      Brit Guy,

Social Security Numbers don't change. She can expect to find she is still on the SSA records with the same number.

Yes, it's a good idea, as it is informational to reviewers and adds positive info to your profile.

            Spouse Sponsorship ( Child)

            Hi Ray B

May i have a question. Please let me know one thing. My wife is Pregnant. how can we make arrangement for my potential child,s citizenship or green card if my wife's give my child birth in abroad or out of USA.

Can we register our potential child in USA birth record before his/her birth to get the citizenship or green card easily for him/her.

              Brit Guy,

The child's birth must be reported to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate with jurisdiction over the location of birth (in U.K.). The report of birth and citizenship/passport application are usually done by appointment at the U.S. Embassy. If the child is born in the U.K., this birth report and citizenship claiming cannot be done in the U.S.

And you cannot register the child's birth before the child is born.

No, an immigrant petition is not needed for a child who can claim U.S. citizenship. But the child's birth and citizenship claiming must be done at the U.S. Embass or Consulate with jurisdiction over the location of birth.

                      visa Petition

                      Hi Ray B.

My wife is filling my petition form I-130. We stacked at question no 14.

Question is Date and place of admission for adjustment to lawful permanent residence and class of admission?

My wife arrived in Dallas , TX on 28/02/2015 and her passport stam showing her visa category is IV Category SB1.

so my wife wrote the answer in question 14 I-130 form

                      28/02/2015 , Dallas , TX, SBI

                      Is that answer right ?

SB1 is probably correct, but the class should be on her visa.

                          I-130 form

                          Hi
My wife is filling my petition from USA. In I-130 form Question 17 ( Information about your relative continued ) List spouse and all children of you relative.

I am confused here in Q.17. My wife is filling my petition so she should put her name and date of birth in that Q. 17 or she should put my name (Husband) and date of birth in there?

                          Regards

That section is for relatives of beneficiary. Your wife's name goes there.

                              Child Birth

                              Hi Ray B

My wife is a green card holder and living in U.S. She filed my spouse petition to bringing me to U.S.

My wife is pregnant now. She wants to give her baby's birth in her back home country.

I read on some immigration lawyer's website that a Permanent resident can give birth out side the US and they can bring his/her child to US in their first return to U.S and child should not be older than 2 years of age. In that way new born child doesn't need visa to come to U.S and the child can get his /her green card on arrival airport in U.S.

I haven't found it on the USCIS website. Please let me know is that true?
                              Regards
