I petitioned for my spouse for an immigrant visa and it's currently processing in NVC. I also can't sponsor him because I don't work and go to school. is this possible? and will they ask me for a school letter? also will a joint sponsor be okay?? please help!

As the petitioner, you must be a sponsor and you must fill out an I-864 Affidavit of Support even if your household income is insufficient. If your household income is insufficient, you will need to find a joint sponsor whose household income is sufficient and they will need to also fill out an I-864 Affidavit of Support.
