What is the usual process time at NVC for F2A category and what happened after that ??

Once an F2A category petition becomes current, after the waiting period, it takes 2-3 months to get through the NVC processing. Then an appointment (for an Embassy interview) is sent to petitioner and/or attorney.

thanks for answering, my husband will soon become a citizen and I will update from f2a to IR-1 since we will be married for more than two years, what time should I expect to wait till I get my interview??
