Forms to submit when applying for GC while being in US on h1B.
Hello,
This is a limbo which I am keep getting stuck in, while being in USA I want to file my papers for GC, wife being an American citizen and me here for more then 90 days now, make me eligible for it I believe (married for more than 2 years now).
Now I understand the required documents as below:
i130: To apply for Green Card.
i485: Adjustment to status, since I am already in USA (is it really required as I am already filling i130 and have valid h1b) ?
i765 (EAD): In order to get employment until the GC (or form i130) is approved ?
G325A: Biometric.
Is there anything I missed or anything that I added extra to the list ?
Also how long before I'll be eligible to find an employment on my own (EAD approval time I guess).
The whole process is lengthy & expensive (assuming total 1700$ estimated) ?
How long the GC approval will take in total ?
Please take out a moment to point me to the right direction, I agree there might be many posts already for the same query, somehow I couldn't get to one hence please share the link if you are aware of any.
