Consular Processing for Follow to Join Applicants (Mumbai Consulate)

The required fees, documentation & other paperwork have been completed and submitted on October 15th. The NVC has not as yet, acknowledged the receipt of our filed documents. Somewhere in a thread, I read that these days NVC doesn't necessarily send such an acknowledgment slip. Our Priority date is for Dec 5 2005. Can anyone speculate a probable date of interview as per the backlogs of Mumbai Consulate ?

Hi , Can you give me some information which form you filed to get this process started? I opted "follow to Join" while family based case was approved for all of us. Now I am trying to find do I need to file i-824 or some other form to get started. Thanks
