Hi,
I have CP interview scheduled on 11th June, but i haven't received packet-4 from Consulate yet. I have below questions.
1. Which address the packet generally comes/US address or India address?
2. If i don't receive it, can i ask some one in India to collect it from VFS office?
3. What documents i need to preapre and send it to them before the interview? I also happened to read on the website that, i need to submit all documents 7 working days prior to the interview in Mumbai consulate. How can i submit it 7 working days earlier, if i haven't received the packet-4 at all and don't even know what all docs to send?
4. i have stayed in Japan for more than 1 year and therefore, have obtained PCC about 2 years back while leaving Japan. I didn't take the new PCC and suddenly last week my date became current and i came to know about my interview date from the Mumbai Consulate website. I suppose, as per the US consulate requirement, the PCC can not be more than 1 year old. The Japanese consulate in US will at least take 2/3 months to give the new PCC again or i have to go to japan to get the same (may be 10 days). My question is, will the US consulater officer understand the situation and accept the 2 year old PCC? Has any one gone through the same exprience?
5. Is it prudent to reschedule the interview date instead? Can i request a suitable date or it's upto them to decide?
Your feedback is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
