Please Help - Present Address(OF-230 Part I)

In column 11(Present Address), Can I give the local address of my relative/friend who lives in Chenai? If it is only for mailing purpose, then I will receive packet 4 very quickly since it is local address or somebody can go and pick it up.

I really appreciate your help.

Chennai consulate website clearly says that if at all possible you should give your local (Indian) address to ensure that you get your packet 4 on time. Put it on both forms (OF-169/OF230 Part I) and/or mention it on the cover letter.
