My brother and his wife wish their son, who is 2 years old now, to come here. If I start paper work now, by the time the immigration visa is granted, my nephew will be 13 -15 years old. Since my brother is the primary beneficial, he must accompany my nephew to enter the US, though he and his wife never wished to permanently live here before they retired at home country; until then, they only want to visit here for a short time every couple years. Questions: 1. Can my nephew still get his GC if his father does not live with him? My brother will goes back to home country after accompanying my nephew here and my nephew will live with me. 2. When can my nephew apply for American Citizenship? 3. If my brother surrenders his GC, can he come here on visitor’s visa later on? Will it be easy for him to get visitor visa? 4. If my sister-in-law will not come here until retirement, can she use her immigration visa by then?

3. If my brother surrenders his GC, can he come here on visitor’s visa later on? Will it be easy for him to get visitor visa? He can try, but it won't be easy as he will have a son who is an US citizen.

4. If my sister-in-law will not come here until retirement, can she use her immigration visa by then?
No. Immigrant visas are only valid for entry for 6 months.
