  • Visiting husband in america with a tourist vise while NVC process documentation

Hi. I applied for an I-130 petition and right now my case is at NVC waiting for review.
I sent the documents over a month ago and some of them were denied (they didn't meet the country documentation requirement, I had to get additional documents) and I just submitted it again last week but overall my process is taking much longer than expected.
My husband (petitioner) is an American citizen and he is in the United States while I'm living in Brazil waiting for this process to be done, and we haven't seen each other in 8 months.
I was thinking about visiting him for his birthday and spending three weeks with him using the tourist visa I already have, but I couldn't find further information whether I'm allowed or not to enter the country for a visit using my tourist visa while I have this process pending.

    Is this possible?
I'm buying a roundtrip for 3 weeks, is it possible that they could deny my entrance for a visit?

    Thanks.

From what I read, yes, it is possible that they will deny your entrance. You may not convince the PoE officer that you don't have immigration intent.
