    Can i work with H1B visa on a india payroll ?

    Can I work from a company from India while being on its payroll in India but not in the US?

    The question is not clear. H1B is a status that one can only have while in the US. When the person leaves the US he/she no longer has a H1 status.
    Just an opinion; Not legal advice.

      As long as you have filled form i-9 and have a valid contract and paying your taxes in the US, I think it should be fine.
