after close inspection to Visa Bulletin for june , july & August 2010 , FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCES , Second (a+b) it keeps moving quickly **** **** **** **...... you think its temporary or it will keeps moving and by the way whats the average movement betwen two months ???????

There is no way to answer this question as there is no way to predict the movement. You can't predict future movement based on the past movement.

If the date is moving ahead too quickly now, it may retrogress in future as well.

august bulletin

okay, i need some help in understanding the visa bulletin. i just found it on the site but i am not understanding. if someone can explain i would appreciate it. my priority date is september 2009. at least thats what it says on the very first notice i got. my petition has been approved and now we are waiting for the visa interview but they cannot tell us when that will be. my husband will have his interview at the embassy in amman, jordan. right now i am in jordan with him waiting because i was tired of waiting alone in the u.s.

if anyone can give me some advice, etc. i would appreciate it.

Firstly are you a greencard holder? If you are a US Citizen then visa bulletin is not applicable to you in your case.

If you are a greencard holder then your category is F2A - Family 2A in the visa bulletin. At the moment as per the visa bulletin they are processing all priority dates before 01March2009. Your priority date of Sept2009 will hopefully become current in August VB.

hi, thank you for your response. okay, i am a u.s. citizen but my husband is not. he's jordanian. we did the I-130 petition. the national visa center told me that the petition approved and we are waiting for him to get his interview. i just was hoping he would get his interview soon so we could go to the states. i don't understand how to read the bulletins. could you explain please. thanks again for your help.

okay i just saw that we are an IR1. does this mean i still refer to that bulletin? i'm sorry, i did search the site but i could not find anything to help me.

Were you a US Citizen when you applied for your husband? As you said your priority date is Sept2009. If you are a US Citizen applying for your husband then it take nearly 6 months for the processing and the interview. It should not take this long for a US Citizen (yourself) who has applied for her husband.

As you are a US Citizen filing for your husband the visa bulletin will not help you at all. Your processing is done mainly by the embassy in Jordan and they are the ones who schedule the interview and the rest of it. As per the USCIS website "Immediate relatives have special immigration priority and do not have to wait in line for a visa number to become available for them to immigrate because there are an unlimited number of visas for their particular categories." If you filed I-130 in Jordan then on the US Embassy Jordan website under Visa Services>Immigrant Visa there is an option to check the Status of administrative processing. Also it says that if processing is pending for more than six months than you should email them.

yes, i am a u.s. citizen (born in u.s.). okay so i don't pay attention to the visa bulletin, thanks for clarifying i guess i just have to try and remain patient and hopefully we will get notice soon of the interview.

i am from india and my mom is in US.She is legal permanent resident there.my priority date is 16 october 2006 and my category is F2B so can you just give me a slightest idea when my date will be current?
