Problem with doing AOS is we will need H1B/ L1 stamping which I hear is not being done due to proclamation. We will have to wait till that is lifted which again will take time!

Oh gosh ! If this is true then we may have a wait time of more than a year. I am trying to find out what DQ dates are being interviewed now for EB1 category.
jacobnvc- can you also help in this search ?

Apparently people waiting from July 2018 DQ in EB1 category with current priority date have not yet received an interview call from mumbai emb. God help us!

Mine is still at NVC. And they have issued one EB1 in March or April this year, don't remember. But I am sure they are. Just that it's not being scheduled on a regular basis. If they start doing we all will be moved to the embassy as out EB1 nunbers won't be high.

jacobnvc I tried checking monthly visa stats in Mumbai consulate in travel.state.gov website. There has been no interviews conducted for employment based for more than a year. in December and jan, there were few eb3 visa interviews held. Just hope that they would resume the process at least from august!
And I have one more question jacobnvc and Robo81, are your cases still showing at NVC or has it moved to embassy?

No, which is why I have been trying to connect to as many people so I can figure out.

No, I am EB1 so I already have a job in India. I was a L1A, so I need to move to the US permanently. So I have provided the reasons and documentation for my urgent movement. What about you ?

Yes I have heard they will send a notice either way. Did you submit a job offer with your request?

Ok, it's been four weeks for me as well. Their email mentions a response within 30 business days. Do they send a response even if request is rejected ? Or the delay means it is rejected?

For me personally, it has been 3 weeks and no response yet. Some folks I know are waiting for 4 weeks + without any response from NVC/consulate.

Do anyone know how much time does NVC takes to respond to a expedited request ?
