i applied for my husband to get an immigrant visa. i finished sending all required documents and he went to his interview. they said there was missing documents so we sent them it now they ask for a new police record and passport does this mean the visa is approved and how long will it take to get back his passport with visa stamped?

It is not unusual that a police clearance expires when the process is delayed.
