My follow-to-join family members were recently granted their employment-based immigrant visas while abroad. The visas are valid for five months from the issuance date.
Due to personal reasons, they need to be in their home country around February or March 2023.
If they travel to the U.S. now but must return home before receiving their physical green cards, would they be able to re-enter the U.S. using the same immigrant visa?
