I om on L1 visa valid till Nov 2012 but I got the I-94 stamped till 2015. My wife came to USA later and she got the I-94 only till Nov 2012. Based on my I-94 we filed extension and got the approval till 2015 for her with a new I797A.
I have applied PIO at Houston for my minor kid. After 2 days I received an email with status as pending(Father visa status is missing). I have called them and updated that I have provided my i-94 which has extended date and also my spouse's extension approval notice which is approved based on my status. However, travisa representative said, the decision is taken by Consulate and they need an approval notice for me(father) and my i-94 is not acceptable though it has a date till 2015.
Is there any way to contact Consulate and get the PIO approved as we need to travel back to India.
Or Is it possible to apply an Entry Visa now and after going back to India applying for a PIO? Please suggest.
