My question is regarding the total OCI fees required with missing Indian passport. The US Naturalization was 13 years ago and the
missing Indian passport most likely expired several years ago.
The travisa order form for OCI has a total fees indicated ($278 plus $12 processing) but it is unclear, if this includes the fees for
renunciation / surrender. Infact the document required for missing passport is not the "renunciation form", but a "deemed surrender certificate"
If anyone has experience or knowledge please share. Thanks.
A follow up question: If the passport is missing do they automatically assess the $250 penalty, - none was calculated on the order form.
