US born baby with Indian Passport-Need to apply for US passport now

Hi everyone

I need some help with applying for a passport for my daughter. My daughter was born in US and she has a birth certificate from US. But she is holding an Indian passport from the time she was born and she has been in India for almost 3 years. Now if we want to take her back to US, whats the procedure to apply for a US passport? Will there be any problems in doing so?

Apply at the embassy or consulate responsible for your place of residence. Your child is a citizen and has a right to have a passport, and will get it.
