PIO valid for more years, US passport renewal needed while already in India ?
Hello,
I'm staying in India along with my daughter, who is a USA citizen. She has a US passport & PIO card. We came to India 2 yrs back & my daughter is on PIO card (Indian Visa) since then.
Her US passport is expiring soon & considering my upcoming business trips to US/UK in next 4-6 months, I may not be able to renew her US passport in time.
My question is - Do I need to renew her US passport before it expires OR can I do it after few months (by then it'll be expired already). Please guide me. Thanks for all your help.
