Dear All,
I have a peculiar situation where I need to apply for the reissuance of my minor kids Indian passport in the USA. Mother and the Kid are in the USA and I am in India.
I have learned that both parents must be signed in the application and notarize the same in the USA. It is not possible for me as I stay in India. I am looking for few clarifications regarding this.
1.Is it okay If I give an NOC in a white paper with my signature and send it to my wife in the USA?
2. Will my wife be able to apply for the passport reissuance of our Kid alone, with the NOC attached with it?
3.Is there any particular format for this NOC?
4.Do I need to notarize the NOC in India from a public notary?
5. What is the procedure to apply for minors passport in this case?
It would be a great help if some one can clarify my queries. I am not receving any help either from Indian consulate or BLS. My daughter's passport is expiring in 24th Oct 2013.
