Consulate asking for I485 form or a copy of green card. Both of which I do not have.

I just got a call from the consulate telling me to come in because they want to speak with me. They want me to bring along "I485." I told them I no longer have this because I applied for green card 5 years ago. She said bring a copy of green card then. Which I also do no have since I surrendered it when I became a citizen.

My flight is on the 15 and they told me to come in on 14. Will the be able to give me the visa on the same day? And what should I say about I485. Can this cause issues that I don't have a copies of either?

Remember really hard if you have scanned copies somewhere on your computer, external, email, dropbox..Did you ever say email or give a copy to a family member? What about your bank? Did you ever give them a copy ? Think Think..

I have the same problem. I applied for Indian Visa on the 8th. Today I received an e-mail asking for i797c (I485). I never filed i485 and have my citizenship since 2002 and have been to India on a visa two times. I just don't get it. I don't have any copies of my green card or any i797c.
