Renewal of my Passport

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I have a passport valid from Sep 1999 to Sep 2009. Now I have applied for a US Visa and its approved from Oct 2005 to Sep 2008. How to extend my Passport in future so that I can extend my visa also.

Questions

1. Is it possible to renew my passport now itself.
2. Is it possible to extend my visa in the end of Expiry of the visa, here if I don't have a valid dates in my passport still can i apply for my visa?
3. If I want to get PR in US after one year, Is it neccessary that i have to change some thing in my passport or just i can apply for it.
4. What do you suggest if I want to extend my stay in US for more period.

your passport needs to be valid for 6 months in the future (at least) for you to apply for a visa. A valid visa on an expired passport is valid if accompanied by a separate valid passport.
you may renew passport only if it is due to expire in less than a year.
