Doubts while filling the Application Form

Hello,

I am filling the application form and I have 2 doubts?
1) What do I have to choose for the Emigration status (ECR or ECNR)?
2) How long has applicant continuously resided abroad? - I have been here since August 2012 as a student but I have visited Indian 2 times in between. So what do I have to fill for this question?
