Traveling to India with OCI card, but new passport without OCI stamp for minors

My kids got a new passport recently. Their new passport does not have the OCI stamp on it, and the OCI card has the old passport number on it. They will be traveling to Indian in 4 weeks and do not have the time to apply for a new OCI. Can they travel to India with the same OCI card or do they have to take a visa for the time being. Please advise on how to proceed.

I travelled to india in feb with my daughters new passport, old passport and oci booklet. Had no problems in entry and exit from india. Just applied for oci renewal after reaching USA.
No need to apply for any visa for india.
This is personal experience.
