Additional Documents Required by Consulate for Visa

Hi everyone - I applied for Business Visa and Renunciation together to BLS, Houston on May 13, 2014. Soon after, I received an automatic reply saying that both my application have been submitted. Today, I got another automatic reply saying my application has been submitted to Indian Consulate. In looking at the Visa application status, it says Additional Documents required by Consulate with '(Need manifest)' in red text. It's not clear what additional document is required.

1. Does anyone of have any idea what this means? I saw another post in forum where additional documents were clearly identify (for example, Mom's visa status copy is required)

2. Is this status normal when both Visa and Renunciation application are submitted together since one of the requirements for Visa for person of Indian Origin is to submit proof of renunciation.

I have an email out to BLS inquiring about the status, and I will update their response here as soon as I receive. In the meantime, I would greatly appreciate if anyone got any insight or has been in similar situation.

Does anyone have any idea what this status mean? Does BLS need to resubmit the application? Or is BLS now going to ask me to submit any additional documents? If anyone of you have seen such statuses in any type of application process, kindly share your thoughts/experience.

Additional Documents Required by Consulate for Visa - Follow up

I sent my daughter's passport about 3 weeks ago for renewal / reissuance. I see that current status is same as yours and not able to get more details about it since last one week.

Do you have some more information on what happened in your case after this "Additional Documents Required by Consulate :15-05-2014
( RESUBMIT )" message.

I emailed BLS and their response did not give me anything specific. They just said that passport is with consulate.
