CKGS Houston Visa Processing

Hi

Any one lucky enough to get Visa from CKGS Houston?. Visa Application made through postal in May 27th but no information yet!
Their web tracking is not working and emails got standard answer. Telephone calls with long waiting period is not help full.

Feel CKGS with its big reputation as the same as BLS.

Who ever managed the changeover process in Indian External Affairs Ministry or here in US Embassy need an award for making things worst!.

(However my initial application to BLS made in April got returned without any action.After several emails, I got my money back yesterday !.)

No response from consulate either.

CKGS Houston Visa Processing

We went in person to apply Tourist VISA 6/10 and got Tracking id# @Houston CKGS.
Since you applied by mail, keep your receipt and if possible go to CKGS Houston center and explain your situation.

Another surprise @Houston center, the BLS person who processed my OCI Visa was also working @Houston CKGS... small world

Week 3 of waiting for Visa

Good to hear that you got immediate service from CKGS Houston.
They received my application on May 29th but seems not yet started any processing .
May be due to backlog and short staffing.

Nobody yet posted anything about their waiting time.
Hope I will hear something this week.

Got Visa and Renunciation yesterday from Houston through FedEx.
Tracking did not work, but CKGS Houston did very well in processing and returning the docs in two weeks time.

Application sent May 27
Received at Houston May 29
Submitted to Consulate June 12 and Visa stamped
Returned through FedEx on June 13th
Final arrival on June 16th !
