CKGS not finding Renunciation Certificate Application
Has anybody had issues with an application for a renunciation/surrender certificate? My application arrived at the Altanta center on June 2nd, but I haven't received one word on it. When I called CKGS yesterday, they told me that it could take another 2 to 3 weeks (!) for processing, let alone delivery. Based on the way the customer support guy spoke, I'm not sure if he even managed to track my application down or find me in the system. He kept asking for a web reference number/tracking ID, but I looked over all the forms I sent in for renunciation and couldn't find any (none on the CKGS order form). Any thoughts?

If you submitted an online form directly then you receive a number of sorts that begins with USAS.... I dont remember filling out and submitting any such forms online for Renunciation. OCI had that option and gave a number. But inspite of having that number they cant trace my application(i applied for both renunciation and oci together) nor can i track it online.Originally posted by kaster_temp View Post -
Thanks for the reply. I didn't do an OCI and Renunciation together, just a renunciation. And there was no online form for that. Now it seems to be lost in the system. They keep insisting there's a tracking number, but none exists. I wonder if anyone else has just applied for renunciation like me and gotten lost...Comment

OCI Tracking
I have applied for OCI and renunciation myself and sent the application via FedEx and they have received it. But I am unable to track it on the website.Originally posted by mrid View Post
