Visa and Renunciation Tracker - CKGS (Atlanta location)

I don't see a thread created to track Visa and Renunciation process at CKGS(Atlanta) location.

My experience with CKGS has been frustrating but have no choice as we need to go through them to apply for Visa/Renunciation.

09/28/14 - Visa and Renunciation Pkg sent
09/29/14 - Pkg delivered to CKGS(Atlanta)

If you could kindly help me with the steps needed to track in that tracker, I will get that added there.

Software tracker is a lot better thing with a lot more capabilities compared to tracking through just discussions.

Am not sure what you mean by steps to create tracker. If you mean what are the different stages(process) that a Visa and Renunciation goes through then, you have to search the forum for the order of events or I can give high level requirements but it may not be correct.

Type of Visa(business, entry, tourist etc)
Package Sent.
Package Delivered(location: Atlanta, Chicago etc)
Package Acknowledged
More documents needed(Y/N)
Visa approved
Renunciation approved
Visa returned

Am not sure what are the rest of the steps but you can start with what we have and then update it.

Tracking finally showed up on the Visa Inquiry page.

Tried to call consulate for 3 consecutive days and was finally able to reach a person this afternoon.

Asked for an update and she only took down our passport numbers and phone number and said will be calling back soon.

called the consulate again and asked to expedite since we have an international travel coming up.

Status changed to "Visa processed.If not collected earlier,Please contact the respective office on next working day where you have submitted your Application"

On CKGS website, Status changed to "Your application has been collected from the Embassy/Consulate and is being sorted. Your application will be ready for collection from our Application Centre within one business day."

Got notification from CKGS that they are sending documents via FedEx. Also, got another email asking for proof of paying for the second FedEx envelope.

Expect to receive the documents this evening as per tracking from FedEx so will update later.

Received US passport with Entry visa and Indian passport with Renunciation certification.

Total end to end timeline - 23 calendar days....

Day 22: 10/21: Doc returned
