  • Additional Particulars Form OCI Trick Question

Well I have searched everywhere and also emailed CKGS.

    Is this a trick question?

I am applying for OCI and renunciation of citizenship as I was naturalized October 2014

Please clarify the below statement from Additional Particulars Form

I am applying for Visa / OCI / PIO card (select whichever not applicable)
    (a) As a spouse of an Indian origin person
    (b) Not as a spouse of Indian origin person.

Why does it state to select whichever "Not" applicable?

So the option would be "b" .

Please share your thoughts. Thank you!

That or cancel both options and write "N/A"...we actually left ours with neither selected and it was still approved. But either selecting "b" or striking out both options and typing "N/A" should be fine.

      Thank you!

I received an email from CKGS this morning ......

      Dear Applicant,

Thank you for contacting Cox and Kings Global Services via email.

We would like to inform you, that you need to select the "As a spouse of an Indian origin person".

I select "a" because I am not a spouse of an Indian origin person...

Wow they really want to make this difficult.
