Minor - OCI on old passport need to travel on DEC 24. Please help!
Hello,
I have a 3yr old son, he just got his new Canadian passport. He has an OCI sticker on the old passport. We wanted to transfer it to the new one but BLS agents told us that it takes longer than 10 weeks but we just have 4 weeks in between.
Can anyone please help us, what we can do? Has anyone traveled with minor having new passport with sticker on old passport recently?
BLS agents tell us different solution each time, one said i could take old passport along but another one said that i have to apply for tourist visa for my son confusing me even more. When we apply for tourist visa we have to tell them about previous travel in which they ask for type of visa and number. I couldnt see any option for OCI in that list. Should i say no to previous travel in that case if tourist visa in only option?
