URGENT: TRAVEL ON DEC 17 and visa not received from SF Office

We need to travel on DEC 17, visa application for minor was sent to CKGS on Nov 12th, so far after multiple calls it seems our application is still in CKGS SF Office.

Any ideas how can we expedite this, can we just walk in to CKGS office and ask them to process it same day with extra fees as emeregency visa.

Any help is appreciated.

In the same boat

Did you receive any reply as I am in similar situaton I applied for entry visa for my daughter and so far CKGS has not sent the documents to the Consulate in SFO. (they say on their website that it takes 3-5 days for the consulate to process the visa but they do not mention how much time it would take them to send it to the consulate)

I tried calling them multiple times for multiple days but was not able to talk to any of the customer service people.
Finally today after 25 minutes on hold I could speak to someone who said that the payment was processed and they should be sending the documents to the consulate, he was not sure when it could happen (he was in the call center, he said he will add a note plus it will take 24 hours for him to know whether the people sitting in CKGS center at SFO will send the documents to the consulate or not).

We were thinking about going to CKGS Application center in SFO to see if the process could be expedited but the call center person could not answer that question .


I am hoping that someone from the CKGS team is reading this and can help out.
