No Objection Certificate (NOC) for child born in India : Need help

Hi,

Please, can any one explain the procedure to follow and the documents required to get the NOC document from Indian Embassy in San Francisco, CA.

I reside in Los Angeles, CA. Any one who resides in CA and came across this situation, can you please share your thoughts and experiences and the process followed to get the required document.
